Written Expression

Introduces English writing skills needed for preparing academic papers and engaging in other forms of nonfiction writing. Topics addressed include selecting a topic, engaging sources appropriately, developing a thesis and an outline, following good English style, crafting paragraphs and transitions, and avoiding plagiarism.
