Calvin Prison Initiative (CPI) provides a Christian liberal arts education to inmates in the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC) through the combined resources of Calvin Theological Seminary and Calvin University. Equipping adult learners in prison with the knowledge and skills required to be community leaders.

Get a firsthand look at a collection of materials on John Calvin, Calvinism, and the Reformation. Established in 1982, the Meeter Center makes scholarly research on Calvinism available to scholars and the wider community. The center’s extensive collection of books (including rare books) and articles attracts researchers from all over the world.

We enjoy a full partnership with Calvin Theological Seminary, Grand Rapids as an extension site to offer an accredited M.A. degree in Missional Theology. Our petitions for a full extension site and for an M.A. (Missional Theology) have been approved by Association of Theological Schools (ATS).

These resources are especially beneficial for seminarians to use for research in their degree programs, and for ministry experience. Students can be placed in a contextual learning experience in a ministry setting through the Vocational Formation Office or may request to become more involved as a volunteer or student employee by contacting their organization of choice.
