New Scholarship

Be part of the mission of Calvin Seminary through your scholarship. As a partner, you help create a sustainable future for ministry leaders.

Thank you for interest in establishing a scholarship to support our students at Calvin Theological Seminary. Your generosity directly impacts students’ lives, enabling them to concentrate on their studies and develop the skills they will need to teach, counsel, preach and offer encouragement and guidance to those they serve. Each scholarship is a gift to our students and we are deeply grateful for your support in equipping students to minister with conviction and grace.

Scholarships at CTS are intended to foster a variety of unique ministries and broaden the reach of God’s word around the world. Many of our scholarships are designated in honor of specific individuals or families, demonstrating gratitude for God’s grace in their lives. We encourage you to share your stories of God’s faithfulness and care as you develop the protocol for your scholarship. The form below is designed to guide you through this process, providing step-by-step instructions to name and describe the scholarship, explain the funding, and outline the process of administering the scholarship.

The form also includes a section about eligibility requirements for your scholarship. All scholarship recipients must meet designated parameters related to their enrollment status, plans for ministry and other factors (see worksheet Part III). When applied to your scholarship, these guidelines allow the greatest number of students to benefit from the awards annually. In some cases, donors choose to designate scholarships with additional specifications, often resulting in a reduced number of eligible students. Donors may choose to waive these additional specifications temporarily when no applicants meet the guidelines. Otherwise, the funds remain in the account until the next cycle of scholarship awards in which an eligible applicant is identified.

Please feel free to call or email us with any questions you may have about your scholarship or the information requested on the worksheet.
