- This event has passed.
You are cordially invited to our Monthly Mini Colloquium, on Monday, November 13, 2023, 12:30 – 1:15 PM, in the Student Center. Please note that because of Thanksgiving break, we meet one week early this time. Sam Ha, our theological librarian and curator of the Meeter Center, will discuss his forthcoming journal article, “Toward a More Trinitarian Understanding of the Atonement: The Role of the Holy Spirit in Calvin’s Atonement Theology.” He will also share the process of writing and publishing this article, so graduate students interested in developing their research and writing skills as well as trying their hand at publishing are warmly invited. Please RSVP to Dr. Yudha Thianto (yudha.thianto@calvinsemniary.edu). Light lunch will be provided.
This academic year we will be having monthly mini colloquia where a faculty or staff member presents a paper that they prepare for a conference or publication and students, faculty, and staff are invited to hear the presentation and provide constructive feedback. The colloquia will be held on every third Monday of the month, at 12:30 – 1:15 PM in the Student Center. All are welcomed. The third colloquia will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023.
