Commissioned Pastor Certificate

Welcome to the Commissioned Pastor Certificate form. This form is meant to be completed together by the classis CMLT and the prospective commissioned pastor.

Calvin Seminary's Commissioned Pastor Certificate is a flexible option for those who want to become commissioned pastors in the Christian Reformed Church of North America. We've matched our courses to the required learning objectives for commissioned pastors. Depending on what objectives will be required, the certificate will be anywhere between 8-20 credits or 2-4 competencies. The certificate is offered in the following delivery methods: in-person, hybrid, online, or competency based (learn more about CBTE here). Finally, all coursework will be offered at a master's level and will be stackable into an MDiv or other theological MA degree.
