About CTS
For the past 150 years, Calvin Theological Seminary has prepared leaders who nurture disciples of Jesus Christ and serve the church with wisdom and grace. Rooted in the Reformed tradition, we equip students for biblically faithful and contextually effective ministry of the Word, offering Reformed theological scholarship and counsel to the Christian Reformed Church in North America and beyond. We also serve the wider body of Christ by cultivating resources that address the church’s deepest priorities: the authority of Scripture, the centrality of Christ in the world’s story, and the world’s need for God’s grace, inviting all who wrestle with questions of mercy, justice, faith, and formation to join us in pursuing God’s call.
