She also practices internal medicine and teaches at Columbia University where she serves as director of the Center for Clinical Medical Ethics. \nDr. Dugdale is a Christian and a scholar in end-of-life issues\, medical ethics\, and the doctor-patient relationship. Her new book\, The Lost Art of Dying\, offers insight and thoughtful guidance on how to die well. Dr. Dugdale also authored Dying in the 21st Century.
