DESCRIPTION:Every year\, the campus community marks John Calvin’s birthday. \nThis year John Calvin’s 516th birthday party will take place on Wednesday\, July 9 (yes\, I know\, we’re a day early) – come to the university chapel plaza at 10 am for refreshments\, and be ready to move in to the university chapel at 10:25 am for the annual John Calvin speech – this year\, it’s more of a dialogue…you don’t want to miss it! \nTeaser: John Calvin knew both French and Latin fluently – but did you know that when he spoke English (as he will on July 9) he did so with a British accent?
