SUMMARY:Public Reading of Scripture
DESCRIPTION:Our Tuesday rhythm of Public Reading of Scripture (PRS) continues this semester – Tuesdays at noon\, in the Student Center as we continue listening together to God’s Word from Luke/Acts. We’ll listen together and then enjoy the lunch that is provided. \nThe goal of this spiritual practice is to: \n\n\n\nBuild community among students\, faculty\, and staff\nCreate space for spiritual formation of students\, staff\, and faculty\nProvide experience with PRS for students who can then implement PRS in congregations\, ministries\, and non-profit organizations\nProvide experience\, training\, and coaching for student leaders on the leadership team

SUMMARY:Monthly Mini Colloquium
DESCRIPTION:This academic year we will be having monthly mini colloquia where a faculty or staff member presents a paper that they prepare for a conference or publication and students\, faculty\, and staff are invited to hear the presentation and provide constructive feedback. The colloquia will be held on every third Monday of the month\, at 12:30 – 1:15 PM in the Student Center. All are welcomed. The first colloquia will be held on Monday\, September 18\, 2023. Dr. Aaron Einfeld will share his work titled\, “The Reinvention of Liberal Arts Learning around the World: Prospects and Limits of Online Learning.” \nIf you plan to attend\, please email Dr. Yudha Thianto. Light lunch will be provided for those who send their RSVP.
