Non-Degree-Seeking Application Instructions

The non-degree-seeking application is designed for those who wish to take courses at Calvin Seminary for personal enrichment, to transfer credits earned into a degree program elsewhere, or to determine whether to pursue a degree program at the seminary. Non-degree-seeking student status is intended to be short term, generally limited to two courses for credit.

To apply as a non-degree-seeking student, you will need to submit the following items:

  • Online application: to start or continue an application, click here.
  • Payment: Please be prepared to pay $25 USD by credit or debit card when completing the application. This is a non-refundable processing fee. The application cannot be submitted without payment.
  • Official transcripts: Applicants must request official transcripts from all prior colleges, universities, seminaries, and/or professional schools. An official transcript is a sealed copy sent directly from the institution. Please have your transcripts sent to:
